Welsh-born Dilys Gater has been a professional author all her life and has written over a hundred books under various pseudonyms as well as her own name. Her work includes some 40 novels as well as non-fiction, plays, books on how to write novels, short stories and plays, a biography of the Bronte Sisters and two books on Welsh history - Battles of Wales and Historic Shipwrecks of Wales.
For the last fifteen years she has also worked with the public as a psychic consultant, and written about her work. The author of nearly 20 non-fiction books on contemporary spirituality, she has a reputation that is respected world-wide. Her psychic books have appeared in hard & soft cover, Large Print (UK & USA), as Audio Books (UK & USA) and her work has been translated into Italian, German, Spanish, Latvian and Romanian.
As well as writing for other publishers she founded the publishing imprint Anecdotes in 1989 and has since edited and published books herself. She has also been Arts Editor of a county glossy magazine for the past 3 years and writes features covering all aspects of the arts and the professional theatre.
